Instead of foam or gel, the cushion is made of 56 connected air cells. When you sit, the cells under your sit bones compress and the air moves sideways, so your weight is spread across the whole surface instead of pressing into two small points.

Let the air out and it folds down into a compact carry bag that slips into a backpack, tote or personal item.
No extra bag to carry through the airport, and no rethinking your packing.

Blow through the valve or use a small pump to inflate it. Once you are sitting, add or release a little air until it feels right: firmer for support, softer for comfort.
When you are done, open the valve, press the air out and fold it away.
